FIELD: machine tool industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to abrasive cutting machines and can be used for abrasive cutting of various materials with cut-off wheels. Proposed machine comprises bed, electric motor, lever arranged on bed to turn from feed drive in pendulum pattern and spindle with cut-off wheel arranged on one side of said lever. Machine tool is equipped with a rotary axis of swinging of the lever, which is rigidly fixed to the lever and installed by its ends in bearings mounted on supports installed on the bed. One of the ends of said rotary axis is connected to an encoder which fixes the angle of rotation of the lever with the spindle through the same angle with the rotary axis of swinging of the lever. Electric motor is installed permanently on the bed so that the rotation axis of its output shaft coincides with the specified rotary axis of the lever swinging and the electric motor pulley is connected to the spindle pulley by a belt transmission. Feed drive providing swinging of the lever is configured to set the cut-off wheel to intermittent pendulum motion with preset frequency and amplitude of oscillation in the process of one cut.
