FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to maxillofacial surgery, and can be used in treating odontogenic phlegmons of maxillofacial area. Causative tooth is removed, the infectious-inflammatory focus is opened, inspected and drained. Counter-opening incision is made, through which a perforated adducting tube with a valve is laid over the entire length of the wound bottom. On the first postoperative day, a hydrophobic polyurethane sponge is placed on top of the adducting tube, having previously adapted to the wound. Drip system with a drug substance is connected to the adducting tube through a valve. Further, the wound is isolated with a sealed film, which is fixed on the skin in a wound projection. Process window is cut in the film, to which a port is fixed, which is connected to a vacuum apparatus, a discharge tube. Wound drip irrigation is carried out by supplying a medicinal substance to the entire area of the wound bottom through an adducting perforated tube and wound exudate is removed, after migration of the substance into a polyurethane sponge, through a port of the discharge tube into a container for collecting biological material under the effect of vacuum. In the treatment, a device is used, comprising a reservoir with a medicinal substance connected to the adducting tube, a discharge tube connected to a vacuum source and a container for collecting exudate, corresponding to the size and shape of the wound, a hydrophobic polyurethane sponge in contact with the adducting and discharge tubes, and an insulating film covering the hydrophobic polyurethane sponge. At the same time on the adducting tube is made perforated along the whole length corresponding to the whole length of the wound bottom. At the end protruding from the wound there is a valve with the possibility of connection to the drip system of the reservoir with the drug, and a process window is formed in the insulating film, with the possibility of fixing the port of the discharge tube to it.
EFFECT: due to the possibility of controlling the volume, rate and time of drug delivery, inventions enable to achieve improved wound cleansing, faster formation of young granulation tissue, and reduced length of hospital treatment.
