FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and is intended for automatic control of conversion of DC energy into AC energy by unipolar frequency-pulse modulation and can be used in electric drives based on brushless DC motors, power supply sources and uninterrupted power supply of computer equipment and medical equipment. Inverter control device implements unipolar frequency-pulse modulation. In unipolar modulation, the pair of keys of the first inverter stand is a sign-setting of the sine signal reproduced on the load, and the other pair of keys of the second stand implements frequency-pulse modulation. Signing keys are switched with frequency of the reproduced signal, and the other pair of keys – with modulation frequency. Unipolar voltage pulses are applied to the load. Such an inverter control algorithm in comparison with the prototype allows reducing harmonic distortions and switching losses in power keys.
EFFECT: implementation of unipolar sinusoidal frequency-pulse modulation for reduction of harmonic distortions and switching losses in power switches.
