MACHINE-ELECTRONIC GENERATING SYSTEM WITH VOLTAGE AND FREQUENCY STABILIZATION Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC H02P9/02 H02P9/30 H02M5/297

Abstract RU 2806899 C1

FIELD: aviation electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: used in the construction of systems such as VSCF (variable speed - constant frequency), as well as on other moving objects and in small-scale generation, specifically in wind energy. The inputs of each of the three TRB 3-RU are connected to one of three TAW, and the outputs of the TRB are designed to connect them to the TVI power buses, with at least one buffer capacitor connected between them. Three TAW are made galvanically isolated, each with a “star” topology. The TVI is made on the basis of three single-phase bridge inverters (SBIj), the power buses of each of which, together with an individual buffer capacitor connected between them, are designed to connect them to the output of one of the three TRB 3-RU. One output terminal in each of the SBI forms the beginning of one of the three phases of MEGS-2, designated, respectively, as “A”, “B”, “C”, and the other output terminals in each of the SBIj, designated for the three phases, respectively, as “X”, “Y”, “Z”, are combined with each other and form the zero output of the three-phase system “0”. In the well-known machine-electronic generating system (MEGS-2), containing an electric generator (EG) with an inductor and three three-phase armature windings (TAW), a voltage stabilization unit (VSUj), including at least one controlled key element (CKEj) and a control signal generation unit (CSGj), containing a power source for internal needs (PSIN) and made with the ability to regulate the output voltage of MEGS-2 (to stabilize it under real disturbing influences), a three-channel rectifier unit (3-RU) in the form of three three-phase rectifier bridges (TRB), as well as a three-phase voltage inverter (TVI) with an output filter (OF) and a control unit (CU). The control unit is configured with the ability to implement specified algorithms for controlling TVI keys and with a unit for regulating its phase voltages (URPV).

EFFECT: improving the weight and size parameters of EG and MEGS-2 as a whole; expanding the scope of application in terms of power (according to the invention) when using real, limited operating voltage transistors in TVI; eliminating amplitude and phase distortions of the output voltage under unbalanced load; improving the quality of the output voltage and thereby reducing the mass of output filters, including through the use of a more efficient algorithm for generating the output voltage.
