FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, namely to a method of soil enrichment during potato cultivation. In the method, an organic substance is used as a fertilizer, nutrients are used in crop rotation and pre-harvest treatment of potato plantations is carried out. Lupine is used as a precursor. Organic fertilizer used is crushed lupine straw with size of up to 7-12 cm in amount of 3 t/ha, which is then uniformly scattered over the field, embedded in the soil with a heavy disk harrow at depth of 10 cm, and fall-ploughed at depth of 20 cm in autumn. Additionally, transverse disking of the field is carried out, and in the second year, in the spring, mineral fertilizers are applied in a dose of N₉₀P₉₀K₁₂₀ to depth of 6-8 cm for presowing cultivation and potatoes are planted in the first decade of May when physical ripeness of soil with density of 50 thousand tubers per 1 ha is achieved.

EFFECT: method ensures increase of soil fertility, potato yield and quality of tubers at return of plant remains of annual lupine bean pod valves to the soil.
