SUBSTANCE: description of washing units and methods of their operation is given. Washing unit design includes a laundry container and a desiccant, the design of which includes a circulating fan directing humid air coming from the container to the desiccant and a removal device for absorbing moisture from the humid air, regenerative fan directing air for removal of moisture absorbed by the desiccant and to the removal device, as well as to the condenser for condensation of water from the incoming air, the moisture absorption and removal device is placed next to the circulation fan, the regeneration fan and the condenser.

EFFECT: increased moisture-absorbing capacity, reduced drying time and reduced power consumption.
