SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of gas and condensate. Disclosed is a method for diagnosing associated water of production wells of gas and gas condensate deposits based on results of chemical analysis, including the associated water sampling, separation of the condensate in the sample, the upper part, on the separating funnel from the water-methanol solution, the lower part, and determination of their total mineralization and ion-salt composition in the sample, where additionally in the sample content of methanol, which dilutes associated water, is determined, and the amount of methanol is taken into account for determination of mineralization.

EFFECT: invention provides more accurate determination of true mineralization of water and, accordingly, its type.
