FIELD: wood processing industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of forestry and wood processing industry, in particular, to devices for debarking and delimbing from the surface of timber. Debarking-delimbing device consists of a frame, on which there are drive hazelnuts and two driving drums (3) with flexible working elements in the form of chains (5). On the drive drums there installed are movable bases of chains (4) having the possibility of axial movement relative to the axis of the drive drum, and compression springs (6) between end surfaces of the bases of the chains, which provide the possibility of deflecting the working field formed by rotating drive drums with chains.
EFFECT: quality of cleaning timber from bark and branches is improved.
