SUBSTANCE: invention relates to orthopedic dentistry. Proposed gel with a wound healing effect for fixing removable dental prostheses consists of 74.9% of the weight of the finished product, 4% of carboxymethyl cellulose, 1% of sodium carbomer, 10% of glycerol, 0.1% of sorbic acid, 10% of water-alcohol extraction from plant raw materials: Leuzea carthamoides, Calendula officinalis, Bergenia crassifolia, Filipendula vulgaris, made by infusing 16.0 g of Leuzea carthamoides roots, 8.0 g of Calendula officinalis flowers, 8.0 g of Bergenia crassifolia leaves, 8.0 g of Filipendula vulgaris flowers in 272 ml of ethyl alcohol with volume concentration of 40 %.
EFFECT: gel has high adhesion capacity, pleasant organoleptic properties and presence of wound healing and anti-inflammatory activity to accelerate adaptation of patients to removable dentures, as well as for permanent use.
