FIELD: pharmacology.

SUBSTANCE: agent contains sanguirythrin in an amount of 0.5 wt % and an oil extract of the marigold flowers and yarrow, taken at a ratio of 1:1, in an amount of 5 wt %, as an active ingredient, and hydroxyethylcellulose in an amount of 2 wt %, glycerin in an amount of 3 wt %, cremophor RH-40 in an amount of 1 wt %, sodium saccharinate in an amount of 0.5 wt %, mint oil in an amount of 0.1 wt % and purified water in an amount up to 100 wt %, as the ointment base.

EFFECT: prolonged antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, regenerating, hemostatic action, good fixation and even distribution on gums and convenient and hygienic application.
