FIELD: water treatment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ecology, namely to the water treatment technology, and can be used for purification of natural and waste water of industrial enterprises, in particular waste water of ore dressing and gold mining enterprises. Method of purifying waste water involves treatment with a suspension of a microalgae strain Chlorella vulgaris Beijer IPPAS C-1 with concentration of 6*107–6*1010 cells/l with a volume ratio of the suspension of microalgae to the volume of waste water of 1:10. Cleaning time ranges from 30 to 90 days.
EFFECT: improved quality of waste water treatment, in particular, from heavy metals and such toxic substances as arsenic and cyanides.
