FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of biological treatment of waste water. Method involves treatment of water in aerotanks, and before water is diluted with purified water 1:3, then introduced microalgae Chlorella Vulgaris, mixture aerated, and purification process is intensified by exposure to light beams with wavelength of 450–650 nm and dosing to 50 ml of 2 % sucrose solution.
EFFECT: invention provides extraction of ammonium nitrogen, surfactant from waste water, reduced duration and simple process design.
