FIELD: maintenance of fire safety equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of rolling up fire hoses with a horizontally rotating device. According to the method, rolling-up is carried out using a device comprising disc (2), made with possibility of horizontal rotation on gasket (10), fixed on metal base (9), having shaft (8), and seats (4) for working pins (3); rod (13) configured to transmit rotation to disc (2), equipped with handle (1), working pins (3), eccentric (5) and pusher (6) with cams (7); wherein the middle of the fire hose is placed in the gripping zone of fire hose (12), rod (13) is put on shaft (8) with the insertion of working pins (3) into seats (4), handle (1) is rotated, winding the fire hose on working pins (3), forming a hose roll, then eccentric (5) is rotated, actuating cams (7) with pusher (6) and removing working pins (3) from seats (4) for free removal of hose roll.

EFFECT: disclosed is a method of rolling up fire hoses with a horizontally rotating device.
