FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to information transmission systems, specifically to systems using quantum entanglement for transmission. Quantum communication system employs the principle of quantum communication, which includes pulsed, in accordance with binary symbols "1" or "0", light irradiation on the transmitting side and continuous light irradiation on the receiving side of two spatially separated thermoluminescent crystals containing quantum-mechanically entangled electronic colour centres, with the possibility of measuring on the receiving side the duration of light emitted from said light irradiation according to the transmitted binary symbols "1" or "0", with measurement on the receiving side of the scattering duration by quantum-mechanically entangled electronic colour centres of light, the receiving side and the transmitting side of which are made with possibility of two-way communication in half-duplex mode.
EFFECT: high quality of communication owing to data transmission using the effect of quantum entanglement of electrons "locked" in electronic colour centres of thermoluminescent crystals.
