FIELD: railway machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway machine building and can be used in diesel locomotives with water cooling system of diesel power plant. System is characterized by the fact that in summer time absorption refrigerating machine works together with power plant of diesel locomotive as additional cooler of water system, in winter time – as post-start heater of water system. This is achieved due to the fact that generator (1) and evaporator (3) are made with possibility of direct connection bypassing absorber (4) and condenser (2), as well as due to the possibility of changing the volume of the lithium bromide solution in the system and the pressure in the system circuits using end valve (17) located on absorber (4), through which the coolant is replenished and drained, as well as creation and elimination of pressure difference. Water is bypassed from cold or hot circuits of diesel locomotive via tank with water (15) where evaporator (3) is located.
EFFECT: maintaining optimum temperature conditions of diesel locomotive power plant.
