FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention is a method for detecting delayed type hypersensitivity in allergic diagnosis of tuberculosis in cattle, small cattle and horses, involving fixation of an animal, rubbing the injection site, intradermal introduction of PPD-tuberculin for mammals, followed by reaction 72 hours later, characterized in that injection site is wiped with 30% aqueous solution of dimethyl sulphoxide, and PPD-tuberculin for mammals is injected with a needle-free injector intradermally into the zygomatic bone region under the eye orbit of the animal, the examination results are recorded and evaluated visually, by a method of comparing the state of the skin at the point of introduction of PPD-tuberculin for mammals relative to the skin in the zygomatic bone of the other eye, formation of visible swelling in the place of introduction of PPD-tuberculin for mammals is considered to be a positive reaction.

EFFECT: invention widens the range of methods for detecting delayed hypersensitivity in allergic diagnosis of tuberculosis in cattle and horses, facilitating and accelerating labor-intensive allergic examinations in diagnosing tuberculosis in cattle and horses.
