FLOW CONDENSATE COLLECTOR FOR GAS PIPELINE Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC F17D1/02 F16T1/34

Abstract RU 2830786 C1

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas industry, namely to devices for collection, separation, accumulation and removal of liquid in pumped gas. Flow condensate collector for gas pipeline includes expanded section of gas pipeline in the form of vertical housing with differently directed inlet and outlet nozzles. Blind upper partition is installed in front of the inlet branch pipe. Below the expanded section there is a condensate collection tank with a volume of not less than the volume of the expanded section and connected to it by a connecting pipe. At the upper end of the reservoir there is a condensate discharge tube with a means of its shutoff, which is interconnected with the lower part of the condensate collection reservoir. Inlet branch pipe is interconnected with the side surface to direct the gas flow perpendicular to the partition. Outlet branch pipe is connected to the top of the vertical housing on the side of the partition wall opposite to the inlet branch pipe. Connecting branch pipe is equipped with a gate valve, which is interconnected with the side surface of the vertical housing below the level of the partition and is made downward towards the condensate collection tank installed near the vertical housing. Sealed inlet of the condensate discharge tube is installed directly on the condensate collection tank and is equipped with a bypass with shutoff valves, which by its ends is connected to the upper part of the tank and the condensate discharge tube above the condensate collection tank.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to perform maintenance, repair or replacement of condensate drain tube and/or reservoir for condensate collection without stopping gas pumping through gas pipeline with preservation of quality of collection and removal of condensate from gas.
