FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas purification from liquid and condensate in gas, oil and chemical industries and power engineering and can be used for trapping liquid and condensate plugs from pipeline flow along both pipeline section and stratified flows. Liquid plugs separation device comprises horizontally oriented shell ring 1 and cylindrical container-trap 2, which are communicated with storage container 3 arranged under them. In intake shell equipped with inlet union 4 there is separating cone 5, cavity of which in its lower part is communicated with storage container by means of connection pipe 6. On top of separating cone between its frontal surface and ceiling part of receiving shell there is wedge 7. Gas inlet tube 8 equipped with outlet nozzle 9 is arranged at receiving shell outlet inside cylindrical trap-trap. Trap-vessel is connected by means of drain wells 10 with accumulating tank, in the bottom part of which there is a drain branch pipe 11. Cylindrical container-trap can be equipped with at least one row of radial posts 12.
EFFECT: enlarging functional capabilities due to trapping both fluid plugs and fine gas-liquid flow, improving efficiency of gas cleaning from liquid and condensate.
