FIELD: hydraulic structures.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic structures, namely to hydroelectric power stations. River power plant has platform 3, on top of which electric generators 1 are mounted, on which vertical fasteners 5 with screws 6 and conical nozzles 7 are mounted. Nozzles 7 are mounted on fasteners 5 with screws 6 by means of welding. Screws 6 with nozzles 7 are lowered into water with current. Each of screws 6 is located inside the narrow part of headpiece 7, which is located so that the water flow direction is directed inside the wide part of nozzle 7. Fastener 5 is threaded through a hole in nozzle 7 in its upper part. Screw 6 is attached to fastener 5. Nozzle 7 completely covers screw 6. Moment of rotation from screws 6 to electric generator 1 is transmitted by means of worm gear. Screws 6 are connected to electric generators 1 by means of wires located inside fasteners 5 and used for transfer of energy generated from torsion by movement of water flow of screws 6. Nozzle 7 has length from 1 metre to 3 metres and has radius of narrow part from 50 cm to 200 cm.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the amount of output electric power generated by the screw.
