FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed hydroelectric power station is designed for generation of electric energy and it can be installed on any rivers to operate all year round. Proposed hydroelectric power station is structure consisting of foundation plate, side walls and additional middle wall and span with compartment for reduction gears with electric generators over place of mounting of wheels. Structure before diversion has ice-breaking support and net booms, and side walls from water inlet side and water outlet are provided with widening. Structure at water inlet is provided with two converging tube and two working channels and at water outlet, two diffuser channels. Additional middle wall has semiround cutouts for wheels arranged at different sides in staggered order. Wheels are installed higher than river bottom and lower than lower edge of possible ice cover, in bearing units, lower in foundation plate, and upper, in span. Several wheels with reduction gears and electric generators can be installed in two working channels over length of hydroelectric power station. Hydroelectric power station valves and pumping unit from inlets and outlets of two working channels.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved reliability in operation.
