FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and a device for producing carbamide from ammonia and carbon dioxide. Disclosed is a method obtaining carbamide, comprising feeding into a reactor a stream containing ammonia and an additional portion of the stream containing carbon dioxide; feeding into the tube space of the stripper the reaction mixture discharged from the reactor and the main part of the stream containing carbon dioxide; liquid phase is fed from stripper into heater for separation of gas phase from liquid phase. At that, the ratio of the volumetric flow rate of the main part of the stream containing carbon dioxide to the volumetric flow rate of the additional part of the stream containing carbon dioxide is controlled in range of 70:30 to 90:10, condensate formed in the tube part of the stripper is used in the heater as a heat source. Also disclosed is a plant for producing carbamide.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of the process of producing carbamide, increased degree of conversion of carbon dioxide, reduced consumption of high pressure steam, maximization of flow rate of generated low pressure steam and optimization of gas and heat load on film heat exchangers of devices for distillation at high and low pressure stages.
