FIELD: fire-fighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire fighting equipment, namely to fire extinguishers and self-contained fire extinguishing devices, which can be thrown manually into a fire source or operated independently, without human participation in case of fire hazardous factors when temperature rises in a closed space above 160 °C. A throw-in fire extinguishing ball containing a foam spherical housing consisting of two hemispheres and filled with a fire extinguishing powder, an explosive charge in the form of a firecracker and a fire impulse translator (FIT), according to the invention, ball contains three charges, three FIT arranged so that the outward end of FIT, which is to be ignited in case of fire, is located opposite to distant explosive charge, at that, fixation of hemispheres between each other and FIT is performed by means of heat-shrinkable film.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of fire localization and fire extinguishing.
