FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preventing hydrate formation during low-temperature treatment of natural gas. Method consists in the fact that a two-component anhydrous inhibitor is supplied before hydrate-hazardous sections of the natural gas preparation process, consisting of methanol and ethylene glycol in the following ratio: methanol—from 10 to 95 wt.%, ethylene glycol—the rest.
EFFECT: reduced consumption and process losses of antihydrate reagent, increased output of commercial products, increased energy efficiency and reliability of equipment and pipelines operation, as well as reduction of operational and capital costs at design and operation stages.
