FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to electrical engineering, and can be used as an electromechanical converter of mechanical energy supplied to one (mechanical) input of a machine, and DC electric energy supplied to its other input (electric), into total AC electric energy with possibility of operation both separately from each source, and jointly. Hybrid axial electric machine-generator contains brush-collector device of DC machine, magnetic conductor with alternating current generator winding, axial armature with winding and rotor. Stator housing is made in the form of hollow cylinder, to end surfaces of which end shields are fixed. Stator housing and end shields are made from material with high magnetic resistance. On the inner end surface of the end shield on the side of the wind turbine there is a magnetic conductor with an alternating current generator winding, the active surface of which is located axially to the adjacent active end surface of the rotor, and on the inner end surface of the end shield on the opposite side there is an armature with a winding, the active surface of which is located axially to the adjacent active end surface of the rotor. Rotor is located between the magnetic conductor with the alternating current generator winding and the armature with possibility of rotation relative to them and has axially located main poles made of permanent magnets fixed relative to the shaft by means of material with high magnetic resistance. Brush holders of the brush-collector apparatus of the machine are fixed on the rotor shaft taking into account the fact that their axis is located perpendicular to the axis of the main poles and is shifted by the value of the angle of physical neutral in the direction of rotation of the main poles, while the armature winding is connected to the direct current source through a brush-collector device, contact rings located on the shaft, brushes, and a device which excludes the flow of reverse current to the direct current source. On the shaft there is an overrunning clutch transmitting torque from the wind turbine to the rotor shaft. Polarity of the DC source connection is matched so that the torques created by the wind turbine and the main poles from the armature winding coincide in direction. Main poles are fixed on the yoke, which is made in the form of a thin-walled disk made of material with low magnetic resistance. Yoke is fixed on the base, which is made in the form of a thin-walled disk made of material with high magnetic resistance. Base is fixed on a yoke, which is made in the form of a thin-walled dick made of material with low magnetic resistance on which poles made of permanent magnets are positioned with alternation. There is an air gap between the poles and the magnetic conductor of the stator.

EFFECT: increased amount of generated electric energy, efficiency of wind energy usage and expansion of generator application area.
