FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: hybrid electric machine-generator contains shaft, armature with winding and brush-commutator device of DC machine, bearings, generator winding of alternating current, armature shaft, which is fixed on both sides in bearing shields of stator. Main poles are positioned radially relative to each other and are made of permanent magnets and are fixed at the ends by bearing covers from material with high magnetic resistance with bearings located on the shaft on both sides of the armature in the inner cavity of the stator with required working air gaps between armature and main poles with possibility of rotation together with brush holders and brushes relative to armature and magnetic conductor with alternating current generator winding fixed on stator. Brush holders of the brush-collector apparatus are fixed in the bearing cover, taking into account that their axis is located perpendicular to the axis of the main poles and is shifted by the value of the angle of the physical neutral in the direction of rotation of the main poles, while the armature winding is connected to the direct current source through the brush-collector apparatus, the contact rings located on the outer side of the bearing cover, brushes fixed by the brush holders on the inner bore of the stator, and a device which excludes the flow of reverse direction current to the direct current source. Simultaneously, an overrunning clutch is fixed on the bearing cover, which transmits torque from the wind turbine through the bearing cover to the main poles. Polarity of direct current source connection is matched so that torques created by wind turbine and main poles from armature winding coincide in direction. Main poles are fixed inside a yoke made in the form of a thin-walled cylinder made of material with low magnetic resistance. Yoke is fixed inside the base made in the form of a thin-walled cylinder made of material with high magnetic resistance. Base is fixed inside a yoke made in the form of a thin-walled cylinder made of material with low magnetic resistance, on which poles made of permanent magnets are positioned with alternation. There is a required air gap between the poles and the magnetic core of the stator.
EFFECT: increased amount of generated electric energy, efficiency of wind energy usage and expansion of generator application area.
