FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: flap extension device comprises a bracket fixed on the fuselage, a movable link connected to the bracket by a hinge to form a kinematic axis of rotation of the flap and directly connected to the flap by means of two hinged joints. Flap extension device also includes a drive lever pivotally connected to the movable link by means of a push rod. Bracket is attached directly to the fuselage at two points.
EFFECT: reduction of dimensions of installation zone of flap extension mechanism due to kinematic simplicity of the mechanism, namely arrangement on movable link of hinged joint of rod-pusher coming from rocker (lever) connected to reduction gear.
