FIELD: welding.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to welding. Embodiments of devices for welding and a method of welding using such devices are proposed. Device has a power source, a control device connected to the power source, a welding device selectively connected to the power source through the control device, and a switch connected between the control device and the welding device. Control device includes a time delay relay which measures a predetermined period. Switch maintains closed position when predetermined period elapses, and welding device creates welding arc. Switch performs switching from closed position to open position when predetermined period elapses and welding device stops creating welding arc. Control device transmits current from power source to welding device when switch is in closed position and blocks current supply from power source to welding device when switch is in open position.
EFFECT: use of inventions makes it possible to reduce power consumption for welding works and to increase their safety.
