SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for generating modified audio data for a video file. Sequence of first audio fragments and a sequence of second audio fragments are obtained in different languages. Plurality of possible arrangements of the sequence of second audio fragments is generated, where this possible arrangement is associated with possible time stamps in the video file and possible compression coefficients for the corresponding second audio fragments from the sequence. Target arrangement for a sequence of second audio fragments is selected from a plurality of possible ones. Selection is based on a target layout having a minimum loss estimate among the loss estimates associated with a plurality of possible losses. At least one modified audio fragment is generated for the video file in the form of audio data translation using the target layout.
EFFECT: high efficiency of generating modified audio data.
