FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to rehabilitation treatment of patients with arterial hypertension combined with metabolic disorders. External gas therapy is performed on the patient’s body parts isolated from the external environment with the help of a dry carbon dioxide-ozone-oxygen bath. Initial concentration of ozone in the supplied ozone-oxygen mixture is 120–150 mg/l and flow rate is 50 ml/min. Simultaneously, hydrogen inhalations are carried out with an air-hydrogen mixture with hydrogen concentration of 2 vol.%. Before the beginning of the gas therapy, the patient is placed in a contact container made from an elastic gas-impermeable material in the form of a bag. Internal volume of the bag is sealed relative to the body, at the level of the neck or at the level of the upper part of the chest, by means of an elastic tourniquet. Pump is used to remove air from the bag as much as possible with subsequent inflow of carbon dioxide into the bag. Length of procedure is 60 minutes; the therapeutic course is at least 10 procedures, one procedure daily.

EFFECT: method provides simplifying the technology of implementing the method, increasing the effectiveness and reducing the length of treatment, and reducing the costs when using it.
