FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: magnetically coupled constant voltage converter with active clamping relates to electrical engineering and can be used in secondary power supply systems for conversion, regulation and stabilization of output constant voltage, which is galvanically separated from input constant voltage. Device comprises transformer 2, the beginning of primary winding 1 of which is connected to the positive pole of the input constant voltage source, and the end of primary winding 1 through power control switch 3, which is implemented in the form of a field-effect transistor MOSFET, is connected to the negative pole of the input source of constant voltage. In parallel to primary winding 1 of transformer 2 there is a clamping element composed of series-connected capacitor 4 and additional switch 5, implemented in the form of field-effect transistor MOSFET. End of first secondary winding 6 of transformer 2 is connected to end of second secondary winding 12 through two rectifying diodes 7 and 11, so that the cathode of first rectifying diode 7 is connected to the end of first secondary winding 6, and the anode is connected to the common point of connection with the cathode of second rectifying diode 11, the anode of which is connected to the end of second secondary winding 12. Beginning of first secondary winding 6 of transformer 2 is connected to one of the outputs of the capacitor of filter 8, the second output of which is connected to the common connection point of the first and second rectifying diodes. Beginning of second secondary winding 12 of transformer 2 is connected to the end of third secondary winding 10, the beginning of which is connected to one of the terminals of filter capacitor 9, the other output of which is connected to the common connection point of filter capacitors 8 and 9, the common connection point of which is connected to the common connection point of rectifying diodes 7, 11. End of third secondary winding 10 is connected through filter capacitor 13 to the end of first secondary winding 6. Load 14 is connected in parallel to series-connected filter capacitors 8, 9. Control electrodes of switches 3, 5 are connected to pulse-width controller 15.
EFFECT: generation of constant output voltage from constant input voltage, provision of possibility to switch on power switch to zero current value, formation of rectangular shape of current through power control switch, reduction of dynamic and static losses, exclusion of filter throttle and shunting diode.
