FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: magnetically coupled constant voltage converter with active clamping relates to electrical engineering and can be used in secondary power supply systems for conversion, regulation and stabilization of constant output voltage, galvanically separated from input constant voltage. Device comprises transformer 2, the beginning of primary winding 1 of which is connected to the positive pole of the input constant voltage source, and the end of primary winding 1 through power control key 3, which is implemented in the form of a field-effect transistor MOSFET, is connected to the negative pole of the input source of constant voltage. In parallel to primary winding 1 of transformer 2 there is a clamping element composed of series-connected capacitor 4 and additional key 5, implemented in the form of field-effect transistor MOSFET. Beginning of first secondary winding 6 of transformer 2 through the first rectifying diode 7 is connected to one of the outputs of first capacitor 8, the second output of which is connected to the end of first secondary winding 6. Beginning of second secondary winding 9 of transformer 2 is connected through second capacitor 10 to beginning of third secondary winding 11, end of which is connected to one of the outputs of the capacitor of filter 12 with parallel connected load 13, the other output of which is connected to the common point of connection of first capacitor 8 with the end of first secondary winding 6. Common point of connection of the beginning of third secondary winding 11 with the second capacitor of filter 10 is connected to the cathode of second rectifying diode 14, the anode of which is connected to the common point of connection of the cathode of first rectifying diode 7 with first capacitor 8. Control electrodes of keys 3, 5 are connected to pulse-width controller 15.
EFFECT: generation of constant output voltage from constant input voltage, provision of possibility to switch on power switch to zero current value, formation of rectangular shape of current through power control switch, reduction of dynamic and static losses, exclusion of filter throttle and shunting diode.
