SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for dewaxing a middle distillate fraction, carried out in a fixed bed reactor of at least one catalyst containing at least one hydrogenating-dehydrating phase, containing at least one metal of group VIB and at least one metal of group VIII of the periodic table, as well as a substrate containing at least one zeolite IZM-2, at least one zeolite with structural code MFI and binder. Method is implemented at temperature from 170 to 500 °C, pressure from 0.1 to 25 MPa, volumetric hourly rate from 0.05 to 50 h-1 and in the presence of a total amount of hydrogen in the mixture with the feedstock, providing a hydrogen / feedstock ratio of 50 to 2000 normal litres of hydrogen per one normal litre of the feedstock. Zeolite with the structural code MFI is ZSM-5, and the weight ratio of the zeolite IZM-2 to the zeolite ZSM-5 in the substrate ranges from 0.25 to 9.
EFFECT: conversion of the fraction of middle distillates with high pour point into a product having a lower pour point, with higher activity and maximum possible output of the desired products.
