FIELD: freezing of ice.
SUBSTANCE: performing cooling of water poured into ice moulds, ice freezing on sites of cooling elements in ice moulds, changing polarity of ice generator thermoelectric battery supply or changing cooling agent supply in form of hot steam, defrosting from walls of cooling elements in ice moulds of formed ice, with water supply from below into ice moulds successively in portions. After the ice formed from one portion of water from the upper platforms of the cooling elements in the ice moulds thaws, the entire obtained mixture of heavy water, brine and unfrozen water, which is in the ice moulds and in the adjoining butt blocks, is simultaneously withdrawn into the drainage pipeline from the ice moulds through the butt blocks, providing short-term location of ice obtained after thawing above cooling elements of ice moulds, before supply of a new volume of water, which performs surfacing and removal of ice from ice moulds with further implementation of ice freezing in ice moulds from a new portion of water. Ice generator includes working vessel (1) of ice mould (2) with thermoelectric battery or with cooling elements installed in it with branch pipes for supply and removal of coolant, thermally insulated reservoir for water collection (11) with water pump (12) and thermally insulated container for collection of ready ice (9). On the bottom of the tray of the thermally insulated working container of the ice generator, one or more ice moulds are installed, made in the form of a parallelepiped or a cube, with bases of a rectangle or square, two side walls of which are formed by butt blocks (3) installed across the working container, and two longitudinal side walls of the working container or assembled longitudinal limiters (4) installed near the longitudinal walls of the working container.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of using initial drinking water.
