SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas industry and can be used for stimulation of productive formations. In particular, disclosed is a method of performing stimulating operations, containing at least one hydraulic fracturing of the formation using a mixture of proppants at any stage. Following steps are carried out: a) determining the dependence of the properties of the proppant mixture on the percentage of the component/components of the mixture; b) selecting the composition of the mixture to achieve an acceptable level of fracturing characteristics; c) placing proppants and/or mixture of proppants in fracture together with hydraulic fracturing fluid for action on formation by pumping such fluid containing proppants and/or mixture of proppants, based on data determined at stages a), b). Step b) comprises: i) determining the geometric parameters of the fracture; ii) determining placement of proppants and/or mixture of proppants in fracture; iii) determination of fracture characteristics based on the dependence of the properties of the proppant mixture on the percentage content of the component/components of the mixture.

EFFECT: increase in production after hydraulic fracturing due to increase in half-length of the fracture, where the condition of minimum required conductivity is satisfied.
