FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to helicopters. Two-screw multipurpose longitudinal helicopter contains a fuselage, two rotors located longitudinally along the fuselage, a landing gear, four gas turbine engines installed in the centre of mass of the helicopter, two main reduction gears, a distribution box, four overrunning couplings, two bevel gearboxes, a hydraulic pump, a three-barrelled turret hydraulic monitor and two hydraulic tanks. Each of two rotors is driven by two gas turbine engines through the main reduction gear and distribution box. Each rotor is eight-bladed with diameter of 32 m. Fuselage is provided with process compartment to accommodate fuel tanks, left and right winches with worm gearboxes.
EFFECT: increased carrying capacity, increased weight efficiency at full fuelling, possibility to extinguish forest and industrial fires and improvement of flight and operational safety.
