FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: friction coupling with hydraulic control includes a housing of two coaxially located fixed half-couplings, pistons made with possibility of back-and-forth movement on half-couplings, and compression sealing rings mounted on pistons. Depth and width of grooves corresponds to dimensions of compression sealing ring with a gap providing for movement of compression sealing ring in groove. On the inner end of the piston facing the inside of the coupling housing, at an equal angular distance from each other along the piston perimeter, there are radial holes connecting the internal volume of the housing with the piston groove, wherein the holes are made at angle of 30° up to 60° to the coupling central axis of symmetry.
EFFECT: reliability and operational manufacturability of coupling.
