FIELD: welding.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for production of road construction machines, including graders, excavators, tractors and other heavy machines related to the group of special equipment. Through slots are made on a part of structural elements of the frame, and corresponding projections are made on the other part. Frame is assembled in the jig with alternate installation and fixation of structural elements of the frame in the jig by means of basic and adjustable stops, at that they are connected by means of insertion of protrusions into slots. Welding of the assembled frame is carried out in stages, at the first of which one performs manual circular welding of projections with sections of structural elements of the frame adjacent to the projection, from the outer side of the frame. At the second stage, joints of structural elements of the frame are completely welded.
EFFECT: method reduces time spent on making frames for road construction machines, provides the required rigidity and strength of the frame.
