FIELD: train traffic control.

SUBSTANCE: in the invention, AB-BACS automatic train operation unit comprises three MCU microcontrollers, SDRAM microcircuits, FLASH microcircuits, POWER power supply module and LED indicators. Microcontrollers MCU implement logical functions of automatic control system and are connected to each other by high-speed serial bus SPI and two serial interfaces CAN and RS485. Two microcontrollers have access to the physical medium of data transmission via the Ethernet line, and the third microcontroller exchanges information through these two microcontrollers. SDRAM microcircuits are intended for expansion of random access memory of microcontrollers. FLASH microcircuits provide non-volatile storage of BACS database, route map and data of automatic control recorders. Power supply module POWER provides conversion of input DC voltage from on-board network of rolling stock and supply of stabilized DC voltage to electronic components. LED indicators are used to visually monitor the serviceable state of the unit.

EFFECT: reducing probability of the automatic train operation system generating an incorrect command to control the rolling stock.
