FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment. Strain gauge device comprises a strain gage sensor, a reference resistor, a switch, an operational amplifier, a programmable multifunctional control board (PMCB) with software. Tensoresistive sensor consists of flexible alternating layers of conducting mutually perpendicular buses, which are in contact with a layer of flexible tensoresistive polymer located between them. Said X-to-Y strain gauge enables to obtain an array of data on the deformation of the sensor at n to m points.
EFFECT: high level of information content of measurements, namely obtaining an idea of the distribution of relative deformation (deformation field) on a considerable surface area of the loaded object, as well as measuring deformation at any point and along any line of the test object.
