FIELD: engines.
SUBSTANCE: electrothermal assembly of a steam engine for nanosatellites relates to propulsion systems. In particular, the present invention relates to a steam engine assembly for small spacecraft or nanosatellites. Unit includes heat exchangers, each of which contains channels, inlet of working medium supply to channels of the first heat exchanger, at least one heating element, supersonic micro nozzle and multiple rods forming truss structure. Heat exchangers are arranged in each other and connected so that serial passage of working medium through them is provided.
EFFECT: implementation of the invention increases efficiency of the engine, due to which power consumption is reduced while maintaining its small dimensions.
