SUBSTANCE: invention relates to underwater weapons, in particular to universal small-sized vertical launchers for gravity-spring firing of underwater projectiles. Launcher for firing underwater projectiles is configured to be placed on a waterborne vehicle and/or aircraft and comprises a vertically installed launching tube or shaft connected to the lower coaming, equipped with systems for storing the projectile and providing its shot; top and bottom covers and/or flaps with remote control drives; at least one firing device with a pusher. Pusher is made in the form of at least one cocked compression spring, the pusher and the projectile are also made with the possibility of locking in the starting position, at the same time the lower section of the launcher is made opening for the projectiles release. To fire an underwater projectile from the launcher, the firing device is equipped with a pusher in the form of at least one cocked compression spring, and for firing, the pusher and the projectile are unlocked, and the projectile is accelerated by means of its free fall and the action of the unclamping compression spring, and the accelerated projectile is released through the open lower edge of the launcher.
