FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, in particular to erection of buildings with suspended structures in seismically hazardous areas. Multi-storey earthquake-resistant building with a suspended head consists of a bearing shaft and floor slabs. Floor slabs are suspended to the head with radial beams and connected to the foundation by means of suspensions. Suspensions are pre-stressed. Radial beams of the head are inclined. On one side, radial beams are closed with a support ring, and on the other side, they are suspended by means of a tie-rod to beams located in the bearing shaft, and are connected to the bearing shaft by means of shock absorbers.
EFFECT: ensuring integrity of bearing structures of a building by means of seismic suppression due to reduction of amplitude of oscillations of the building during seismic action.
