FIELD: packing and storage.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a flexible package suitable for placing an ingredient of a food or drink product and suitable for use with a device for preparing food or drink products, wherein said method comprises punching flexible flat sheet between said plunger and cavity to displace relative to each other. According to the invention, the plunger has a concave end side and convex lateral sides, and the curvature of the profile of its end side is identical to the curvature of the profile of each of its lateral sides.
EFFECT: providing a manufacturing method for creating an environmentally friendly package, which is substantially flexible, but comprises a flat surface for connection with a beverage preparation device, and which is also sufficiently rigid to prevent leaks.
