FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to flotation concentration of gold-sulphide ores containing the main valuable component of gold, as well as antimony, which is represented in ore by industrial minerals stibnite (antimonite) Sb2S3. Method for selective flotation of stibnite from gold-sulphide ores involves grinding to size of not more than 45-65% of control class minus 71 mcm in conditions of natural alkalinity, then depending on initial weight fraction of antimony and arsenic and their ratio in gold-sulphide ore in presence of activators sulphide minerals and sulfhydryl collectors, in form of butyl xanthogenate, or dibutyl dithiophosphate, or a composition of butyl xanthogenate and dibutyl dithiophosphate in ratio of 1:1, stibnite is successively floatated into a crude antimony concentrate and into a collective gold-antimony-arsenic concentrate, or stibnite is floated into a crude gold-sulphide concentrate with subsequent deantimonization. Method then includes selective flotation of stibnite from crude antimony concentrate, collective gold-antimony-arsenic or crude gold-sulphide concentrates in starvation mode on stibnite activator – lead nitrate – 10 g/t and sulfhydryl collector sodium diethyldithiocarbamate – (C2H5)2NS2Na – 5 g/t. For selective extraction of stibnite into foam product, pulp is pre-conditioned with sodium thiosulphate at specific consumption of 350-700 g/t.
EFFECT: increased extraction of stibnite in antimony-conditioned concentrate and improved quality of crude gold-sulphide concentrates sent for cyanidation due to deantimonization.
