SUBSTANCE: invention relates to film polymer materials for food packaging. Disclosed is a method of producing a corona treated polyethylene film, involving the use of an interlayer chemical compound of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) with a film. Oil aldehyde is applied on polyethylene film in 0.5 hour after corona treatment. A catalytic amount of concentrated 37% hydrochloric acid is then added to the aqueous solution of PVA and the obtained solution is deposited on the surface of a polyethylene film, which is then dried to constant weight.
EFFECT: invention increases adhesion of the PVA layer to the polyethylene film.
