FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for reconfiguration of onboard equipment of integrated modular avionics (IMA) aircraft. To reconfigure on-board equipment, virtualization of IMA physical modules is performed in the form of virtual resources available through a software interface, dynamic distribution of computing resources, network interfaces and other hardware functions between virtual modules using software installed on a central on-board computer system, as well as remote control of reconfiguration from ground stations.
EFFECT: high fault-tolerance of a computer system.
