FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering, namely to turbine construction, and can be used in designing new and reconstruction (modernization) of existing condensers operating in steam turbine plants (STP) at power plants. Condenser of the steam turbine with a collector system for withdrawal of SAM is characterized by the presence of an air cooler in each tube bundle, separated by steam shields and a perforated collector of the SAM outlet, in which for SAM outlet cylindrical holes are made along the entire length of the SAM outlet collector. Steam shields of the air cooler and the SAM outlet collector are connected to each other and have a common closed space limited by the walls of the condenser housing and the inner surfaces of the steam shields and the SAM outlet collector, where unions are installed at the upper and lower points, wherein cylindrical holes along the entire length of the perforated SAM outlet collector are threaded to allow installation of threaded plugs during hydraulic tests.
EFFECT: creation of a steam turbine condenser with an air cooler excluding ingress of steam passing by a steam mass condensation zone to maintain a normal heat exchange process in the condenser and to increase reliability of the steam turbine plant operation as a whole.
