FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mine and underground construction and can be used in the structures of tunnelling mechanized shields for continuous monitoring of changes in the geological structure of the rock mass in front of the tunnel face. Actuating element of the tunnelling shield for the construction of tunnels in the multilayer massif is made in the form of a disc of metal made with the possibility of being connected in the centre by the main shaft with the tunnelling shield structure and along the perimeter with its protective shell and interaction with a sealed chamber, limited by a diaphragm, made behind the disc inside the tunnelling shield, on the disc there are cutters, cutters and holes for passage of the destroyed soil are made, wherein ultrasonic transducers are arranged in circles relative to actuator centre. Ultrasonic sensors are installed in holes of broken soil passage. On the side surface inside the holes there is a sensor attachment assembly, which consists of a rigidly fixed protective cover of the ultrasonic sensor. On the reverse side of the disk there is a cylindrical cavity, outside of which there is a removable cover for the cavity, inside which an ultrasonic sensor is installed with possibility of removal. Above the protective cover of which there is a cavity of rectangular shape, outside of which there is a removable cover, inside of which there is a removable battery unit, and above it there is a data transmitter. Mounting assemblies of sensors are installed along four circles in pairs opposite to each other. Ultrasonic sensors are made with possibility of data transmission to control panel in tunnelling shield cabin by means of fixed with possibility of data receiver installed behind diaphragm inside tunnelling shield.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of determination of geological structure of massif in vicinity of tunnel face.
