FIELD: means of defence.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of radiation, chemical and biological (hereinafter referred to as RCB) protection, in particular, to RCB reconnaissance means. Method of marking contaminated areas using a helicopter-type unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) consists in the fact that the UAV is launched using a control panel and after moving into the contamination zone, it hovers at a given height, at operator's command solenoid is switched on, the rod of which moves, thus releasing the suspended lug. Released sign of the enclosure falls on the surface of the earth under the action of gravity, and due to the weighted hemispherical base, the sign takes a stable vertical position, creating its visibility. If necessary, the operator drops the second enclosure mark. Further, the UAV returns to the location of the operator to the initial position.

EFFECT: possibility of remote marking of contaminated areas at a large distance is provided.
