FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an injector for introducing balls into a well pipeline. Injector comprises a housing and a mechanism for feeding balls into the well pipeline. Housing consists of upper and lower parts rigidly attached to each other by flange connection. In the upper part of the housing there is a channel for loading/additional loading of balls and a channel for feeding balls into the well pipeline. Mechanism for supply of balls to the well pipeline is made in the form of a cup with an auger, which are located in the channel of supply of balls to the well pipeline. Auger is connected to a geared motor mounted on top of the upper part of the housing. Balls loading/additional loading channel is located on the side surface of the upper part of the housing with a ball pusher arranged in it and fixed on the upper part of the housing by means of a connection. Lower part of housing has two channels interacting with each other for connection with injection lines and one channel for connection to wellhead by means of connections. Channel for supply of balls to the well pipeline is also located in the inner cavity of the lower housing. End of the cup and the end of the screw of the ball feed mechanism are located at the intersection of two channels for connection with the discharge lines. Lower end of the cup is located so that it does not allow fluid flows to form a swirl.

EFFECT: simplifying the design of the proposed wellhead injector for introducing balls into the inner cavity of the tubing string with exclusion of swirling, which prevents the ball from passing into the well pipeline.
